Job Details

DAY-TO-DAY FOR PRODUCTION 

 

  • Ensure there are always enough freelancer(s) in to complete all work needed for all orders, while also not having anyone in unnecessarily
  • Take a hands-on approach to completing these orders and ensuring everything that leaves the department is of a high standard
  • Review the list of upcoming orders to prepare for the future workload Ensure that only embroideries are produced in UK which cannot be done in Istanbul
  • Always ensure best use of global company resources for cost efficiency 

STOCK

 

  • Keep the embroidery stock list up to date on barcloud for all ateliers and making sure there is sufficient stock to fulfil all upcoming orders
  • Maintaining of a full inventory per barcloud manuals with supplier details, correlated style codes
  • Liaise closely with global stock control, global planning, development manager and e-commerce manager if stock is ever running too low
  • Monitoring of logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments related to the department
  • When stock is received check everything off the order and the packing list to ensure that everything has been delivered
  • Confirm receipt of goods with notices of defect and documents attached to the order
  • Keep in good contact with both the other ateliers to answer any questions that either have and making sure the correct standards are being upheld throughout
  • Provide support to sales team with regards to bespoke renderings/ embroideries to help guide them through what is possible to do with which embroidery
  • Remain aware of the calendar, ensure that everything needed is ready before a new style is dropped
  • Trial placements and embroideries for bespoke clients, liaise with showroom & sales
  • Ensuring records are kept up to date including new embroidery styles being swatched

LEAD UP TO COLLECTION:

 

  • Prepare all fabric/components that needs to be sent to suppliers to embroider directly
  • Make sure there is a sufficient number of capable freelancers booked in to cover the workload over the collection period
  • Bei hands-on with the work, and monitoring all embroiderers, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard
  • Use the PLM system for any possible part of the workflow and filing of all per PLM guidelines
  • Recording the process of all embroidery done through the collection so suitable documentation can be made after the collection is complete
