As an Account Executive you will be responsible for overseeing and driving strategic wholesale growth and managing relationships with key wholesale partners and clients within the contemporary women's fashion area.  We are looking for someone who is a team leader and will thrive in a creative, high-performance and collaborative environment.


  • Ability to work autonomously and delegate when appropriate
  • Solicit orders from new prospective customers to increase sales
  • Maintain and continue to strengthen relationships with wholesale partners
  • Ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with all members of the team
  • Merchandise assigned collections for sales markets to best showcase brands to buyers
  • Analyze and present sales data while constantly working to maximize sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with clients on product assortment
  • Recap market feedback, highlight best-sellers and product opportunities
  • Maintain dialogue with clients to ensure sample sets and sales materials are received for sales periods 
  • Maintain records, update logs and submit orders
  • Follow-up with buyers once orders are received to ensure products are properly placed on sales floors or online 
  • Work with buyers to help brands' performance; assist where possible to support sell-throughs of products in stores and online
  • Develop efficient wholesale strategies to increase sales
  • Look for potential new business opportunities and clients for the business


  • Must have at least 3 - 5 years fashion wholesale experience
  • Record of meeting and exceeding sales plans
  • Advanced sales, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of wholesale markets and competitive landscape
  • Must be highly organized, possess exceptional communication skills and be able to multi-task efficiently
  • An effective and expedient problem-solver with keen attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the wholesale/retail industry
  • Excellent Merchandising Skills

  • Must be willing to learn and acquire the skills necessary for the job
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • National and International travel is required
