Overview:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of E-Commerce, this role will partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization, including Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Retail, and Operations. The Merchandiser leads the creation of product strategy and growth of the AMIRI Digital Flagship domestically and internationally. This position collaborates closely with the cross-functional team on seasonal product assortment needs. The role is responsible for alignment of all merchandising strategies and building the product line plan in order to achieve or exceed annual financial goals. They must ensure the line plan addresses a global brand vision while at also meeting local needs.

What You'll Deliver:

 

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders; influences and drives consensus of all short and long range merchandising strategies & objectives for Men’s, Women’s, Kid’s, and Footwear & Accessories.
  • Manages product pipeline and product experience on the digital flagship through merchandising, optimization of category collections, content, copy, landing pages, navigation, PDPs, SEO/SEM, etc.
  • Partner with Planning for seasonal projections and other ad hoc reporting while managing weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting for key merchandising KPIs.
  • Develop seasonal postmortem process with Customer Service and E-Commerce Operations to deliver seasonal feedback to Merchandising and Operations.
  • Identify growth opportunity areas with Retail Stores to provide a unique and premium DTC experience.
  • Lead ideation of merchandising site enhancements for development with E-Commerce Operations and IT as planned.
  • Meet all internal merchandising, product, purchasing, and marketing deadlines.
  • Manages the Assistant Merchandiser while supporting their growth and development.

Who You Are:

 

  • 5 to 7 years of merchandising/buying experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar field.
  • Luxury background preferred; fashion Retail experience a must.
  • Knowledge of Shopify, ERP, and other website software.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of financial metrics, and understanding of business development translating insights into measurable actions.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills, including presenting to senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally and to influence ideas internally.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and team member development.
  • Organized and accountable.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and react with appropriate sense of urgency.
