Support the development of instore presentation for the assortment strategy and maintain the merchandise operational needs of the CVM team.

Key Accountabilities
  • Operations
  • Manage the CVM product borrow process and maintain inventory by following inventory control procedures and ensure merchandise is accounted for by conducting cycle counts.
  • Partner with Inventory Control, Product Development and Replenishment Planning for all stock and sample product needs.
  • Maintain CVM photo studio and ensure all equipment and assets are fully stocked and up to date.
  • Prep studio for photoshoots (i.e. organize studio and set up product based on shot list)
  • Project Management
  • Support the rollout of caseline styling guidelines. Partner with manager to determine exact product needs and prepare shot list. Organize product and set up preliminary presentation for review.
  • Assist with product selection for creative campaigns based on newness, holiday themes, best sellers, etc. Prepare preliminary product shot list for review. Supply sku list to executive floor and CVM Design team.
  • Assist the VM/Communicatons team with procurement and management of creative assets for photography shoots and special set ups.
  • Support the building of VM guidelines by gaining knowledge of product styling and product presentation strategies and by gaining knowledge of store fixtures, design standards, materials used and challenges faced by the field teams.
  • Assist with the building and production of communications (i.e. creating line drawings, taking photos, formatting, editing, etc).
  • Special projects
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising Manager to assist with the development of new styling and new display forms.
  • Take part in store visits and competive shopping to gain knowledge on CVM needs and detemine where improvements and enhancements can be made.
  • Administrative
  • Support the daily business needs of the Visual Merchandising Manager and team.
  • Respond to/coordinate miscellaneus requests (i.e. creative and merchandise set ups, etc.)

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of illustration, rendering and photo retouching skills
  • Exceptional communication skills - written, oral and visual
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities
  • Flexible, ambitous, outgoing, enthusiastic.
  • Able to work with a variety of people and present ideas and information to a group.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point
  • Retail experience, preferably in luxury/jewelry a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed for store visit

The target hourly rate for this position is $25, and the position will be part-time for 24 hours per week.
