Role Overview
LIKELY is currently looking for a detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team in our NYC headquarters. You will be responsible for helping maintain and strengthen relationships in assigned target accounts.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with accounts to drive revenue and mitigate markdown liability
- Manage account opportunities in-season and collaborate with Sales Director to identify plan of action
- Compile style and by door selling, sales to stock relationship and profitability reports on a weekly basis to drive full price sales
- Manage the brands representation in all channels to ensure company visual standards are being upheld and meeting expectations
- Recap market feedback; highlighting best sellers, product trends and opportunities
- Review first pass orders and provides suggestions based on style history, current market performance and regional needs
- Capture full price final selling by delivery to pinpoint hits and misses to communicate to Sales Director and Planning
- Partner with Sales Director and Planning to forecast monthly revenue
- Manage dilution by account to ensure LIKELY stays within plan
- Develop direct reports and provide constructive feedback based on sales performance
- Ad hoc reporting as needed to support Sales Director
Some travel may be required
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of previous account executive experience in the contemporary market
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers to develop strong long term relationships
- Strong understanding of retail math and sales planning
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including a high level of proficiency with Excel
- A multi-tasker, proactively seeks out opportunities to support the team with a can-do and follow- through attitude
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
MUST be able to work on site 5 days a week in Manhattan
