Position Overview
This role acts as the right hand to the Business Planning & Analytics Manager, who is the analytical point of reference for consolidated EMEA insights on wholesale sell-in and sell-out performance. As such, the analyst will also play a key role in developing and enhancing our reporting tools. In addition, this role encompasses business development support responsibilities, in particular to support the launch or expansion of key business initiatives using sales data and market research.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This function acts as the right hand to the Business Planning & Analytics Manager, who is the analytical point of reference for consolidated EMEA insights on wholesale sell-in and sell-out performance. As such, the analyst will play also play a key role in developing and enhancing our reporting tools. In addition, this role encompasses business development support responsibilities, in particular to support the launch or expansion of key business initiatives using sales data and market research. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and be able to quickly review and collaborate with business partners to articulate key business insights to Senior Management and other key stakeholders. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving and a storytelling mindset to build compelling and value-driving stories out of large volumes of data. Wholesale Analytics:
* Co-ordinate, supervise and produce centralized reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Build a repeatable suite of reporting tools used by all, based on stakeholder requirements and feedback.
* Ensure the accuracy of multiple-source data and deliver quick turnaround for ad hoc data requests.
* Liaise closely with regional sales analysts and other departments to provide qualitative insights on performance.
* Maintain an overview of competitors' landscape, performance and strategy, and conduct market research and competitor analysis, to support reflection on strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
* Provide sales insights on ongoing initiatives (product, distribution, marketing campaigns) on a monthly or quarterly basis, to support future calls-to-action based on previous performance.
* Create compelling and highly visual PowerPoint presentations for Senior Management meetings and other ad hoc business analyses.
* Make sales analytics easier and more impactful by partnering closely with the Business Analytics Operations Specialist to:
* identify data needs, identify gaps and align on solutions;
* define key sales/business metrics and priority insights which should be made available at scale;
* synthesize requirements and develop best-in-class reporting suites to serve Senior Management and the business;
* democratize sales data by enabling self-serve access to KPIs. Business Development Support:
* Contribute to strategic and operational planning by collecting and collating business projections and requirements across regions and brands.
* Prepare presentations / proposals in connection with business development opportunities.
* Maintain databases for business development purposes.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* 2 years of relevant work experience (including internships), preferably in a similar analytical role. Academic background in data science or business analytics is a plus.
* Passion for storytelling through data.
* Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
* Inquisitive, constant learner, ambitious in the goals they set themselves, growth mindset.
* Critical-thinker, solutions-oriented.
* Strong work ethic, willingness to take initiative, autonomous.
* Positive attitude towards teamwork.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize. Comfortable working against short deadlines.
* Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills are mandatory, other relevant systems (Microstrategy, Tableau, Power BI...) a definite plus.
* Fluent in English, French or other languages are a plus.
