E-Commerce Merchandising Manager

BUGATCHI’s Montreal office is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented E-commerce Merchandising Manager with a passion for growing a business focused on luxury menswear. They will work to maximize sales results by ensuring an optimal and enhanced online customer experience for the Bugatchi E-Commerce channel.

This candidate’s primary responsibilities include managing the E-commerce storefront with a view to maximizing conversion and sales results. This position is based in Montreal.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Partner with merchandising/planning team to ensure the appropriate assortment based on history and forecast.
2. Manage the product catalog and inventory to ensure timely and accurate product activation.
3. Develop and optimize the website navigation to enhance the discovery, browse and shopping/conversion experience.
4. Manage product categorization and product merchandising and sequencing to facilitate product discovery, browsing and purchase.
5. Manage sorting rules and filters, as well as on-site search strategies, with a view to facilitating product browsing and search.
6. Partner with E-commerce platform manager and developers to evolve on-site features and functionality, including through site optimization and testing.
7. Develop and manage on-site content calendar to drive product and category sales results, support brand awareness and enhance brand perception.
8. Develop and manage on-site promotional and events calendar to drive sales and support marketing initiatives.
9. Manage newsletter and SMS communications channel.
10. Partner with Creative and Content team to develop storytelling and creative assets for the E-commerce channel, including newsletters and SMS.
11. Partner with Marketing and Social Media team to ensure 360-degree integration of online/offline campaigns.
12. Partner with Customer Service and Warehouse logistics team to ensure an optimal end-to-end customer experience.
13. Partner with Wholesale Sales to ensure coherence between our channels.
14. Provide E-commerce performance reporting and analytics.
15. Additional E-commerce and Digital Marketing projects, as required.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3-5 years of E-commerce merchandising experience, preferably in a DTC fashion retailer.
2. Mastery of online storefront management and the online merchandising toolbox.
3. Experience with Shopify platform, a plus.
4. Strong business acumen with an understanding of the multiple facets of the online conversion funnel.
5. Proficient with Google Analytics and Microsoft Office suite, expecially Excel.
6. Passion for fashion a must.
7. Experience with menswear or luxury segment, a plus.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills.
9. Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, internally and externally.
10. Highly organized and flexible and able to think and work beyond the brief.
11. Superior attention to detail.
12. Works well juggling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
13. Is flexible, is reactive and understands how to prioritize.
14. Thrives working in an entrepreneurial environment and collaborative development process.
