Merchandising assistant

Job Description

1. Monitoring of sales, providing qualitative comments

2. Market and competitor's analysis in terms of product and pricing positioning in the different markets

3. Development of post-sales campaign reports

4. Ensure regular competitor analysis and market study.

5. Support in the pricing and markdown strategy making

6. Support in the preparation of merchandising brief to define the new collections’ structure and requests that will be discussed with the Design team

7. Follow up with production to respect the delivery timings

8. Participation in the organization of the sales campaigns and production of all supporting materials and buying tools (such as control of product styles codes, linesheet, advertising, and exit lists)

9. Development of training manuals and presentations with detailed product information on each collection

The Ideal Candidate

1. At least 2 years of relevant experience as merchandising assistant or buying assistant preferably in the fashion/luxury goods industry

2. Educational background preferably in business management or similar

3. Fluency in English

4. Strong analytical skills

5. Passion for luxury product

6. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

7. Ability to manage multiple tasks

8. Flexibility in supporting the team in many different activities with a positive and proactive attitude

9. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
