Product Manager - Womenswear - Paris - H/F

We are currently looking for a Product Manager. Within the womenswear design department of our headquarters in the 16th district of Paris, and under the direction of our womenswear collection director, your main tasks would be (non-exhaustive list):

WOVEN PART :

CREATION IN PLM:

Create all the references and put all the sketches in product sheet in PLM for both lines

Fill in the product sheet in PLM for Paris part

COORDINATION WITH ICICLE WORKSHOPS AND FACTORIES, AND ALSO OUTSOURCES FACTORIES:

Remit the sketches to Shanghai team with the codifications of styles to be developed in Paris workshop, check all information and exchange with Shanghai PD if questions

Reception and preparation of the toiles with Paris workshop

Assist to the fittings in Paris

Optimize the price of each styles with the technical team

Provide estimated costs of each toiles made in Paris workshop before the fitting

Control the quality of garments

Create the nomenclatures in PLM in relation with Shanghai sourcing department for the codification of materials

Responsible of prototypes making launching to the Shanghai for Paris files

Responsible for the dispatching between the workshops and the factory

Planning of prototypes dispatching and launching

Responsible of Paris developed styles cost calculation evaluation as first draft and the confirmed one for fall prototypes made in Paris

Responsible of development with outsources factories (ex: jersey in Portugal)

COORDINATION WITH TECHNICIANS and PD:

Create the nomenclatures in PLM for Paris workshop developments

Work with technicians and modelists to get information to fill the nomenclatures: consumptions, special trims, codifications

Check all the nomenclatures with technicians and modelists before launching to Shanghai

COORDINATION WITH PARIS AND SHANGHAI TEAMS:

Responsible of the Collection Plan of A line and Atelier line with designers for sketches: creation and updating each week

Responsible for the collection plan per categories for each line

COORDINATION WITH MARKETING:

Responsible of given all technical detailed information to merchandisers on fabrics and trims for training

 

KNITWEAR PART :

You are a coordinator between Paris and Shanghai:

Real support and key for knitwear designer in Paris and product manager in Shanghai

Involved in the knitwear collection development from A to Z

RESEARCHES:

Coordinator between designer in Paris and Shanghai product manager: communication of researches of yarn, requests of knits and swatches according to designer request

Requests to Shanghai product manager for researches of volumes and colors ICICLE archives, best sellers according to designer requests for him to use as base

DEVELOPMENT OF SWATCHES:

Follow the planning of swatches deliveries communicated by Shanghai product manager

Control the number of swatches launched (budget control) with Shanghai product manager

YARNS:

Lab dips launching, and planning of deliveries communicated

Give the orders of yarns to Shanghai product manager according to designer requests

Follow and coordinate with Shanghai product manger the planning of yarns deliveries communicated to Paris, knitwear technical team and Miki with prices

SKETCHES LAUNCHING:

Communicate the sketches to Shanghai product manager

Communicate with Shanghai product manager and informed designer of any problem or factory feedbacks

Follow the launching of toiles and planning of shipment

Check the shipment of toiles to Paris with prices estimations

Coordination between designer and Shanghai product manager for all development: technical comments, solutions for designer

Follow the launching and planning of samples given by Shanghai product manager

Follow the collection plan for knitwear A and Atelier lines given by Shanghai product manager
