PURPOSE: The role will be focused on executing the social media strategy, primarily responsible for audience and engagement growth across all channels to drive sales and brand awareness by leading the development and execution of best-in-class social strategies and social marketing campaigns. Reporting into Head of Social Commerce and Head of Brand.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Keeping your ear to the ground on emerging trends, identifying opportunities for innovation, growth and community building ensuring opportunities are highlighted to relevant stakeholders within the wider marketing team and implemented when appropriate.
  • Handle Community Management by monitoring and responding to conversations with customers on each social channel, respective of brand messaging.
  • Plan, publish and optimise the social media content calendar working closely with global markets to ensure alignment with digital marketing objectives and brand storytelling.
  • Co-ordinate assets for organic and paid social channels, regularly communicating content and messaging updates working closely with digital designers and agencies.
  • Best in class social design execution of established creative direction to visually create Instagram Stories, Reels, TikToks and more.
  • Engaging with our global teams across owned and earned content on a daily basis, ensuring our brand tone of voice and values are present and launches are effective.
  • Collaborating with PR teams on our brand ambassador and UGC programs globally.
  • Working closely with the digital marketing agency and exec to ensure that the organic and paid social strategy is aligned.

 

THE PERSON: 

  • A strategic and analytical thinker who can interpret data into meaningful insights. You have a strong understand of all platform metrics and management tools.
  • Experience of working with agencies on paid activity and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of GA, Facebook/Instagram analytics and attribution windows helpful for contextualising paid and organic reporting.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape and a proven track record of optimising content and building and engaging with communities.
  • Photoshop skills desirable.

 

HOURS:

We actively encourage our teams to have a good work/life balance and so we are pleased to offer flexible working shifts at Fred Perry HQ. Our core shift hours are from 10am – 4.30pm and so employees can choose to start and finish early, or start and finish late. (i.e. work 8:00am-4:30pm, or 10:00am-6:30pm etc). We also have 30-minute early finish on Fridays.

As we continue to work in a more flexible way, the Head Office acts a brand hub, where we can all connect and collaborate with one another. This role is a mix of office based (London) and remote working. We will expect the employee to come into the office regularly for face-to-face meetings and to work alongside their team on collaborative projects.
