About the Role

The Senior Account Manager has a solid understanding of business on a global scale and possesses strong influencing and collaborative skills as they interface with multiple Gap Inc. and Franchise business partners. Selected candidate should also have past wholesale experience, ability to conduct detailed market research and overall track record of developing, implementing and overseeing global expansion for international brands. The Senior Account Manager will be the interface between Financial Planning, Account Planning, Marketing, Merchandising, Planning & Allocation, to ensure brand, product and commercial needs are fulfilled to the "best in its class" across multiple brands (Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta, Old Navy). The Senior Account Manager will be accountable for creating and leading multichannel strategies for wholesale partners, developing a robust growth plan including real estate and ecommerce development. The Senior Manager will maximize revenue by analyzing sales data, reporting performance, identifying growth opportunities and resolving issues to drive topline growth. Previous experience with wholesale preferred with strong product /inventory management business acumen is a must to drive performance.

What You'll Do

  • Drive strategy in line with strategic objectives and develop strong annual business plans to deliver against the budgeted growth targets
  • Identify risk/opportunities to sales plans and collaborate with cross functional teams to develop action plans to achieve financial goals
  • Recap and review account's sales performance, online analytics, customer data and other KPIS to formulate actionable insights that actively drive trade
  • Balanced Product, Inventory Strategy and commercial plan understanding to propel growth and profitability.
  • Leads in developing market-specific sales channels & operations strategies, defining the roadmap for the partners
  • Reviews and presents real estate opportunities to deliver the partner strategies
  • Project manage new store, website and brand launches as well as new season launches
  • Conduct effective in-market visits (virtual and in-person) throughout assigned market/s with key contacts in region


Who You Are

  • Minimum of 5 years' trading experience ideally in a wholesale fashion retail environment, degree preferred
  • Grounded commercial experience within an account management capacity, coupled with an understanding of the inner workings of a P&L
  • Advanced data analytics, problem solving, process/project management and communication skills
  • Strategic Awareness & Thinking - Develops new ideas, considers potential outcomes and develops action plans.
  • Persuasion & Influence - Able to present facts, opinions and proposals persuasively to colleagues.
  • A passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen
  • Travel to relevant market as needed, including weekend availability when required
  • Flexibility to attend late night/early morning global conference calls

Salary Range: $117,000 - $169,600 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
