Assistant Production Pattern Cutter

This is a unique opportunity for an entry level pattern cutter with a passion for production to join as a key team member of a fast-growing high-end womenswear brand based in London. 

You would be part of a highly motivated, close-knit team, where you would be given a lot of responsibility and opportunity to grow. This is a full-time position based in Tottenham.

• Assisting in maintaining a smooth production flow for both DTC and wholesale production

   

  Liaise priorities with Production Pattern Cutter, ensuring allocated task are prioritized according to critical path

   

  Make markers for DTC orders 

   

  Plotting patterns and markers on a daily basis

   

  Digitize manual patterns where needed

   

  Advise inhouse tailors on garment questions or issues on a daily basis

   

  Provide feedback on tech sheet information based on tailor feedback to Garment tech to action further in order to improve production flow 

   

  Flag any pattern issues to Production Pattern Cutter identified in production, so these can be improved across all ateliers

   

  Amend any pattern issues per Production pattern cutter allocation and store per company standards

   

  Update information in PLM when needed

   

  Assist development team with small alterations when allocated by Production Pattern Cutter manager after PP sample fitting in liaison with Product Development Manager

   

  Assist with grading when allocated by Production Pattern Cutter

   

  Work on wholesale bespoke styles when allocated by Production Pattern cutter

   

  Assist with creating DXF marker for panel embroidery styles

   

  Plotter maintenance 

   

  Communicate/fix any technical issues related to Gerber to Production Pattern Cutter involving Gerber support where needed

   

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of garment construction and finishing

   

  Passionate about production pattern cutting

   

  Open to learn new softwares like Grafis, Browzwear and CLO

   

  Basic Pattern knowledge

   

  Previous experience in a CAD software, especially Gerber is advantageous

   

  Work independently and as part of a team

   

  High attention to detail

   

  Able to multitask

   

  Comfortable working in a fast pace environment
