The High Jewelry & Clienteling Manager leads strategy and execution support for new and existing client engagement and bespoke experiences including in-store, High Jewelry events, client gestures and gifting. This person will support the South Asia Pacific Team to grow the High Jewelry segment, enhance client relations, grow the High Jewelry community and offer event support. This role will also work in partnership with Merchandising on our High Jewelry Merchandising Strategy for the region. The role reports to the Client Relations & High Jewelry Director for South Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities

High Jewelry Ambassador and Expert
  • Support market leaders, Clienteling & Events teams, and High Jewelry Experts in the implementation of HJ strategy and track key milestones and progress
  • Support Regional, Blue Book and Key Client Presentations including HJ expertise on gemstones, storytelling, selling techniques
  • Be client facing as our Tiffany HJ Expert to address technical questions and to assist to close sales as necessary in local and international High Jewelry Blue Book event for Asia Pacific clients
  • Develop level of competence and confidence in areas of High Jewelry and technical skills, client relationship building, lifestyle experiences (to include trainings on art, auction, exhibitions, collections)
  • Deliver HJ training content and tools
  • Design and implement local seminars in partnership with HJ Experts, for Client Advisors to formulate an agile platform to share synergies and expertise (including competitive intelligence)
  • Impart knowledge and expertise during regional conferences and meetings
  • Information and intelligence briefings


Develop and grow a clienteling strategy
  • Drive the regional development of Clienteling programs, strategies, and service support
  • Build strategies on client outreach and engagement
  • Drive partnership initiatives within the region, prospecting within key networks to identify and cultivate new high jewelry clients
  • Define client treatment program within the region, sourcing and producing VIP experiences and gifts, managing orders and allocations.
  • Not limited by physical assets and functional scope, extend the treatment and experience all through the client journey
  • Develop client experience enhancements in store, ensuring high quality execution and monitoring. Experiences inclusive of; Hospitality menus, services & special celebrations
  • Collaborate with CRM analytics team for client data strategy and support
  • Study the best practices and competition on the treatment and gifting offering


Partner with Merchandising on HJ assortment strategy and allocation
  • Give input on assortments for High Jewelry in-store and event collection style offerings
  • Participate in competitive shopping visits to support key initiative information gathering and research as it pertains to the current assortment, research category trends in the market and competitor pricing


Qualifications

Required
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Driven, energetic and independent
  • Luxury Retail Experience
  • Possess a full understanding of the marketplace and client demographic
  • Detail-oriented, organized, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Passion and creativity for client relationship building
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and multi-task
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Written & spoken Mandarin


Preferred
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent is preferred
  • Gemologist Certification strongly preferred
