Ready To Wear (RTW) Stylist

Our Milan-based lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced RTW Stylist with a strong sense of personal style, who understands fashion but knows its place. We are looking for a strong, modern thinker who doesn’t rely on fashion tropes and a predictable approach to styling, and who has an innate understanding of how to style a maximalist aesthetic in a sophisticated way. This energetic, resourceful, collaborative individual will be responsible for styling projects across the brand. This full-time role is based in Milan.

This valuable member of our team should have excellent overall presentation skills, with an interest in fashion, culture, design, and women’s empowerment. Experience working within a fast-paced, growthoriented company on the international stage is preferred. This role reports to the Design Director, and will have regular and direct interaction with the Founder/Chief Creative Officer, making experience with vision-driven, founder-led brands a significant plus.

What you'll do:

• Style the subjects of all content shoots, ranging from models to real people to the LDJ community

• Shoots will include all social media, editorial content, and product campaigns

• Style all ecomm shoots, including indosotti and video, for all seasonal and capsule collections

• Responsible for styling the founder for all events, presentations, photo shoots (press and brand

editorial), trips, and industry functions

• Collaborate with the PR/Marketing teams on VIP/celebrity dressing

• Partner with the Personal Shopping team to make recommendations for key clients and super fans

• Work closely with the Ecomm buying and art direction teams, strategizing product presentation

• Participate in the development of each RTW collection as needed

• Act as an ambassador for the brand in the fashion and design communities

• Support the HW team with tabletop and interior styling, ideally (depending on experience)

What we're looking for:

• 5 - 7+ years of experience in styling, working on a combination of commercial and editorial projects

• The ideal candidate has experience working on a single brand and understands the importance of a specific styling point-of-view

• Clear track record of excellence in developing and executing styling projects with a portfolio to demonstrate taste level and sensibility

• Strong sense of personal style that doesn’t reflect fashion trends but rather a creative sensibility, with some degree of maximalism as part of this personal aesthetic

• High energy and positive outlook combined with a “can do” attitude

• Keen organizational skills and ability to handle the busy and complex comings and goings of all product samples, schedules, shipments, and general administration
