Internship, Product Development and Sourcing - H&A

The Product Development and Sourcing Intern for the Home & Accessories team will support execution of new product development for product categories including Home and Tableware, Handbags, Small Leather Goods and Textiles. They will support aspects of the Product Development Process and Sourcing initiatives.

Dates: This position will begin on June 5th and end on August 11th. Candidates should be available to work for the entire 10-week program.

Location: This position is based out of our New York City corporate office.

Salary: Compensation for this position is $25 per hour working a total of 40 hours per week.

Project Management Support

• Gather materials from the sources for testing purposes and assist with completing QA hand-off forms
• Facilitate movement of incoming/outgoing samples between suppliers and internal teams; coordinating with Inventory Control and hand conveyance; ensure samples are labeled, organized, and maintained through project lifecycle

Operational Support

• Provide support with product signoffs; inclusive of coordination with cross-functional teams and in TPM
• Prepare samples for weekly meeting presentations, conferences and other business needs
• Assist with any business trip preparation (i.e. making copies of sample grids, supplier summary pages, etc.)
• Process development invoices as needed (sample invoices and CER/Expense invoices through Coupa)
• Support sample movement internally and externally (shipping, hand-carry, etc)

Sourcing Support

• Support team with research of new suppliers and marketplace dynamics
