Intern, North America Communications & Brand Events

Position Overview

The North America Communications and Brand Events Intern will support the NA Communications team in driving regional brand buzz and performance through the planning and execution of one-to-many marketing activations, strengthening our brand goal to "Create the Dream." This role will partner closely with the Manager and Vice President, as well as regional media and PR teams, to craft communications amplification for important upcoming marketing campaigns and product launches. The Intern will also research innovative and impactful launches and public-facing brand events across the competitive landscape.

Dates: This position will begin on June 5th and end on August 11th. Candidates should be available to work for the entire 10-week program.

Location: This position is based out of our New York City corporate office.

Salary: Compensation for this position is $25 per hour working a total of 40 hours per week.

Key Accountabilities

September Lock Launch
  • Assist Manager to create regional activation plan in support of largest product launch of the year
  • Support planning of Artist Collaboration workstream as part of launch
  • Will involve cross-functional collaboration with media, PR, CVM, Client Relations, and Global teams
  • Includes competitive landscape research, particularly focusing on innovative product launches and public-facing brand events (both luxury and other) research

Holiday Campaign
  • Support Manager in preparing for important Holiday campaign, specifically ways in which to amplify marketing campaign via headline-grabbing activations
  • Partner with media and PR colleagues to ensure sufficient communications support planned throughout the region, including key focus cities
  • Brief team on competitive research findings to inform regional comms strategy

Support overall NA Comms Team:
  • Participate in weekly cross-functional team TB
  • Support ad hoc team requests and projects
  • Partner with media and PR colleagues


Qualifications

Required
  • Education: undergraduate junior to senior level
  • Technical Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel specifically)
  • Passion for innovation & creative communications
  • Highly collaborative; ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail oriented

Preferred
  • Strong understanding of communication & marketing channels as well as current luxury landscape
