Overview:

As the Global Talent Acquisition Intern, you will be immersed in full recruitment lifecycle - shadowing and learning from Recruiters, Coordinators, business leaders and cross-functional partners. During your internship, you will learn how to begin the recruitment process, identify and source candidates with the skills required for open roles, schedule interviews, interview and support ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects.

Dates: This position will begin on June 5th and end on August 11th. Candidates should be available to work for the entire 10-week program.

Location: This position is a hybrid role that is based out of our New York City corporate office.

Salary: Compensation for this position is $25 per hour working a total of 40 hours per week.

Accountabilities:

Week 1 - 2:
  • Learn recruitment process by shadowing a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Recruiter (s)
  • Learn how to create an inclusive job description using Textio
  • Resume reviewing and interviewing
  • Schedule candidate phone screens, digital interviews and in-person interviews while ensuring an engaging candidate experience

Week 3- 6:
  • Introduction to recruitment marketing and an opportunity to conduct market research and provide recommendations
  • Source a diverse pool of candidates using keyword and boolean searches, networking
  • Partner with Sourcing Specialist on hard to fill and/or high-volume roles and provide slate of candidate

Week 7 - 10:
  • Continue daily TA operations of interview scheduling, sourcing and interviewing
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews
  • Complete special project for early career programming, recruitment marketing or candidate experience improvements and present back to GTA team

Throughout the 10-week program, you will also partner with GTA on implementing internship program activities.

Requirements:
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition/recruitment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to build and maintain relations.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher
