Job Details

The Intern - Global Financial Systems will bridge the gap between business strategy, business processes and controls. They will assist with financial data governance, financial application security governance and process improvement projects for global finance and accounting teams. They will work in our financial applications including but not limited to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World, Microsoft NAV as well as other supporting finance technologies. You will be encouraged to expand your skills, test creative boundaries, share new ideas, and most importantly - have fun while learning and making an impact!

Dates: This position will begin on June 5th and end on August 11th. Candidates are asked to be available to work for the entire 10-week program.

Location: This position is in-person at our Corporate office in Parsippany, NJ.

Salary: Compensation for this position is $25 per hour working a total of 40 hours per week.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain global process and control documentation using process maps, process models, or process narratives
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting process owners to maintain the Financial Data Governance processes, data and systems.
  • Assist with Global Financial Application Security maintenance and monitoring activities.
  • Participate in other special projects, assignments or tasks as directed by department management.


Required Qualifications:
  • 0-1 years of diversified finance/accounting and/or systems related experience
  • Pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited university, preferably a degree in Finance/Accounting/Information Systems or Data Analytics
  • Experience with ERP application/software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong process background
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management education or experience
  • Six Sigma
