Manhattan Support Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Management Systems Support Engineer to join our team at the newly opened Scotch & Soda Omnichannel Warehouse in Hoofddorp. Your main duties will include the provision technical and functional support of the newly implemented Warehouse Management System (WMS), Manhattan Active as well our Carrier Integration software, RFiD solutions and physical hardware within the warehouse.

What will you do?

• Provide both first and second line support for multiple applications, including Manhattan Active WMS, Carrier integration software and RFiD software
• Provide support for technical hardware within the warehouse, including, Scanners, Printers, Work Stations, Network and Packing stations
• Help identify opportunities of process and or technical enhancements to further improve the performance of the Warehouse Operations
• Help end users create and manage incident tickets, through from incident creation to closure
• Actively participate with the development teams in the process of releasing new functionality to the end users
• Assist in the creation in Standard Operating Procedures, as well as Training documentation

Our ideal candidate:

• An IT professional with a passion and experience in Warehouse Operations and Management,
• Experienced in Warehouse Management Systems, preferably Manhattan Active WMS.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and a good listener
• Experienced, professional and inquisitive
• Willing to work shifts
• Relevant education to at least HBO level
• 3+ years of experience in the Warehouse Management, processes and systems
• Experience with working with large teams
• Good command of written and spoken English language
