Position Overview
The Manager of Business Process New Store Openings and Special Projects will be a champion and advocate for the stores and the customers needs and will work to ensure that all performance partners deliver the highest level of service to the stores and customers at any point in time. The role will constantly need to drive improvement to the processess and tools supporting the stores and will work with a broad range of performance partners to develop and implement solutions to drive process efficiencies. The role will be responsible for all new store openings, remodeled projects and special projects. The role will will be responsibile for documentation, communication, training, implementation and execution of all projects. This role will require 90% travel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Create management, communication plans and processes for projects including New Store Openings, Remodels and Special Events
* Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties for onsite exeuction of projects
* Define project responsibilities with stakeholders
* Participate in how to budget and staff projects
* Maintain project timeline frames, budget and reports
* Support construction administration and processes for assigned projects
* Manage and coordinate project team and business partners for on site execution
* Generate and follow up on punchlist items timely and communicate risks
* Coordinating internal resources for project execution and weekly meetings
* Ensure all projects are completed on time with consistent and frequent updates to stakeholders
* Complete project plans and review with stakeholders
* Participate in developing scope and objectives involving relevant stakeholders
* Develop a detailed project plan and communicate to stakeholders
* Measure project performance and follow up pre, during and post project openings
* Support projects post opening with hindsight and consistent follow up to drive business results
* Perform risk management to minimize project risks
* Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, field team and vendors
* Orchestrate communication between key performance partners, supporting the store to deliver the upmost level of service. (Construction, Brand, Asset Protection, Logistics, Transportation, Procurement, Field Leadership and Executive Team)
* Manage multiple taskes/projects for multiple deliverables simutaneously, manage resources, set dates and goals and check in on progress regularly, maintain project related documentation, anticipate obstacles and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time delivery in spite of unanticipated problems, work with various teams on long term solutions.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Project Management Experience, retail/store operations and or business strategy planning
* Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution and follow up skills
* Strong communication skills (listening, written, verbal, facilitation) and the ability to interact with all levels of managment including Sr. Executives
* Understanding of various retail programs and KPIS
* Ability to analyze date, come up with strategy
* Strong analytical, conceptual and technical skills (Exel, Powerpoint, Smartsheet, Adobe, Teams, Zoom)
* Proven project management and customer service skills.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities and ambiguity successfully
* Must have strong sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to work independently, apply critical thinking skills to various scenarios and make effective well thought-out decisions
* Ability to work with various teams and vendors
* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment and successful completion of all projects and tasks
* Ability to follow up timely and report out to stakeholders including updates and risks
* Previous management experience
* Required retail experience
* Lead Ad-hoc projects based on busienss needs
* 90% travel required
