HUGO BOSS is a world market leader in the premium fashion and luxury segment of the apparel market. The Savannah Distribution Center currently operates as a Foreign Trade Zone and receives/ships approximately 8 M units to approximately 100 Retail stores and over 300 Wholesale points of sale.

The Financial Analyst, Logisticswill provide direct support to the VP of Distribution in working on various projects affecting the whole supply chain including logistics, transportation, and logistics planning. Key responsibilities for the Financial Analyst, Logisticswill include budget planning and control, KPI development and capacity modeling. Provide counsel and recommendations to affect successful counter measures to unplanned budget and inventory events. They will learn and implement best practices from their AG counterparts.

What you can expect:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
  • Main contact person for logistics controlling issues
  • Supports Distribution VP with the development, monitoring and adjustments of budgets
  • Works with cross functional partners such as Merchandising, Radial (3PL) on stock levels and provides costs to each functional group in the DC (i.e. transportation, control center, etc.)
  • Plan logistics operating budgets
  • Coordinate & plan budget development with Department Leaders for timely submission
  • Maintain constant budget control and, as necessary, develop and initiate appropriate counter measures
  • Analyze capacity needs and develop models to support operational decisions
  • Conduction of project controlling consisting of milestone and budget controlling
  • Definition and preparation of relevant logistics KPI`s
    • Backlog issues
    • Radial (3PL)
  • Develop and improve existing system reporting structures
  • BI report development
  • Develop and publish reports to include daily, weekly, monthly volume and performance status to measure productivity in the DC.
  • Creates weekly reports in order to help make assessments on the business.
  • Provide support data and analysis needed for strategic decisions.
  • Deploy analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and enhance supply chain processes.
  • Conduction of project controlling consisting of milestone and budget controlling


Your profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting or Global Logistics Management. MBA preferred
  • 3 - 5 years' experience within Retail Distribution or Supply Chain Management or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work independently
  • Effective communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
  • Unquestionable work ethics, personal integrity and honesty
  • Knowledge in ERP systems, SAP in particular and Business Warehouse Systems
  • Change management skills
