Merchandising Intern for the Home & Accessories team will support execution of all aspects of merchandising and product assortment strategies including Home and Tableware, Handbags, Small Leather Goods and Textiles. This position will support Merchandise Analysts (Home Analyst, Accessories Analyst, Retail Analyst).
Dates: This position will begin on June 5th and end on August 11th. Candidates should be available to work for the entire 10-week program.
Location: This position is based out of our New York City corporate office.
Salary: Compensation for this position is $25 per hour working a total of 40 hours per week.
Assortment management and operational support
•Help to update and maintain Merchandise assets (i.e. visual grids, monthly delivery flow charts, board decks, sample availability decks, etc).
•Provide support with ad hoc merchandising projects (merchandise flow boards, competitive pricing and market analysis, etc)
•Prepare and coordinate samples for Marketing, CVM, Creative, PDP photoshoots.
•Assist with any executive meeting preparation (i.e. divisional meetings, zone president meetings, global regional walk throughs, etc)
Requirements:
Agile, flexible, and fluid mindset, ability to react quickly based on business needs, passion for fashion (ideally Home and Accessories product categories), a strong business mindset, willing to learn and embrace all challenges and tasks, including ad hoc projects.
