Job Details
Job Purpose:
Support end to end quality of fit and construction across multiple product categories. Ensure garments are delivered on time, to quality standards set by the business within required delivery window, at the margin set.
Main Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work across multiple product categories Creating / updating specs for the collection prior to pre-production fits for allocated season
- Arrange and attend Pre-production fittings with the production and product development teams, as well as design and sales teams as required Attend final proto fits with Design and Product Development
- Measuring and checking Samples as required – this will include sms samples, pp samples and shipment samples
- See product through from SMS sample to production Vendor and supplier visits to QC bulk and problem solve any issues in production
- Creating and maintaining good relationships with Suppliers and Manufacturers Support the process between Technical, Design, Product Development and Production
- Checking product and packaging against set standards
- Creation and management of garment construction and standards manuals alongside women’s technologist
- Risks assessing products in terms of safety, and with an eye on International regulations and Standards
- Analysing customer complaints and follow up with suppliers to identify necessary corrective actions
- Day-to-day administrative tasks as required
TEAM & COLLABORATION
- Key partner with in house Atelier, working alongside on improving process/ quality and projects
- Work with the Women's Garment Technologist to generate reports analysing factories and quality
- Providing technical cover in the absence of the Women's garment technologist
COMMUNICATION/COORDINATION:
- Creating and maintaining trackers for the department, ensuring all deliveries are logged and tracked through to approval of shipment samples
- Ensuring all comments are followed from Pre Production samples when checking shipment samples and bulk
- Carry our AQL reports at factory
PROJECTS
- Partnering with Head of Atelier on block development in production and responsible for correct blocks used in Production for consistency
- Driving Technical Evolution and consistent improvement of internal and external tools
Skills and Experience Required:
- A fluent level in English is essential.
- At least 6 years’ experience with technical knowledge is required
- Strong knowledge of production methods, production cycle and garment
- Strong communicator, knows how to communicate with clarity & precision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate confidence and assertiveness when communicating technical requirements, both internally and externally
- Experience of working close to production and international factories
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail is essential
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask, maintain focus in a fast paced environment and time manage accordingly..
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Ability to work well under pressure, and meet critical deadlines

- Consistently demonstrates a solution driven attitude, proactively solving problems, anticipating challenges and finding solutions.
- Must be flexible, proactive and understand process to follow up all areas of technical investigation and projects
- Software: Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular an in-depth knowledge of excel is required; experience with RLM or similar systems is beneficial
- Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business
