The purpose of the Junior Project Manager Retail Operations is the development and implementation of retail and omnichannel projects in order to translate our company strategy into current and future retail concepts. The Junior Project Manager will question the status quo and develop concepts and processes to improve in-store efficiency and profitability. In addition, digitalization and standardization are two of his/her key objectives to achieve.

A day in the life of a Jr. Project Manager Retail Operations (m/f/x)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / PROJECT MANAGEMENT / TARGETS / OWNERSHIP

• (Partial) responsibility for the conception, introduction, and further development of retail and omnichannel systems & services in our Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein stores in 6 European countries
• Identification and implementation of the future omnichannel strategy and state-of-the-art store systems that improve our efficiency and daily in-store processes
• Further development of our till (cash register) system and the introduction of new payment methods
• Analysis and review of our till (cash register) system and payment processes, as well as the recommendation of future needs and features in terms of compliance and efficiency
• 360° project management: product development and optimization, testing, rollout planning, training, and implementation as well as aftercare and administration
• First point of contact for our stores and external partners, support during the introduction and daily use of existing/new retail technologies
• Close collaboration with our European HQ in Amsterdam and other European markets
• Creation of presentations and training material as well as target group specific reports
• Business case development and participation in cross-divisional project teams

What do we need from you? You have:

• University degree in business, economics, textile, or related fields - or a comparable education
• First relevant work experience with retail and/or project management context
• First experience with store systems, digitalization, or retail technologies
• Solid communication and presentation skills and comfortable with training store colleagues
• Very good analytical skills and good MS Office knowledge (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Independent and highly structured working style, good communicator, and brand ambassador
• Fluent in German and English and willingness to travel
