General Purpose
  • Contribute to grow sales and brand equity, by building our influencer strategy and PR event strategy
    with clear KPI setting based on global/Japan marketing strategy.
  • Manage and develop capability of 1 direct report, especially on influencer management and event planning/operation skills

  • The Manager is responsible for Influencer strategy and PR event planning in Japan. Their objective is to secure media exposure on Tiffany products / new collections and the event message by managing influencers and external agencies.

    This individual will report to PR Director, who oversees overall communication projects, not limited to the key initiatives/projects this Manager will lead. This individual will manage 1 direct report.

    Key Accountabilities
  • Contribute to grow sales and brand equity, by developing and execute    

  • holistic influencer strategy and related PR events.
      • This includes budget allocation/management for assigned project, plan execution, leadership with alignment management with multi-functional team & key stakeholders, effectiveness & efficiency measurement, and improvement proposal/execution.
      • Collaborate with global marketing/PR teams to leverage, influence on, and manage alignments on global campaign and guidelines, for the key initiatives/projects she/he leads.
      • When planning/executing marketing plans, lead/collaborate with other teams in respective arenas, e.g. Products for Merchandising team, DCO team for lower-funnel digital marketing, Brand Marketing for magazine tie-ins, CVM for visual merchandising, so that all teams can work toward the same goals consistently.

  • Manage and develop capability of 1 direct report, especially on influencer marketing skills and event planning/operation skills
    • One of the key expectations is to grow the direct report so that the direct report will be equipped with influencer management expertise and the event execution skills.
      * The direct report will lead some other projects on which she will report directly to PR manager or PR Director.

  • Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:
    • Holistic marketing experience at a brand end or a PR / Advertising agency end, incl. celebrity/influencers management, magazine (ads and tie-ins), BTL activities (events, pop-up store, etc), at least for 5-7 years' experience related Fashion/Jewelry & Watch brand(s) or beauty brand(s), preferably luxury brand(s).
    • People management/development experience at least for 2-3 year.
    • Hands-on, roll-up-sleeve attitude - not only strategy/direction giving but also on execution/follow-through by himself/herself, capable of handling multiple and fast-paced tasks, with a strong sense of ownership.
    • Professionally and personally mature person, with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Solid strategic thinking, integrating both qualitative perspective and quantitative perspective.
    • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
    • Ability to manage and operate under tight deadlines
    • Undergraduate college degree
    • Non-traditional work hours including nights and weekends when necessary
