About THE ROLE

PVH Merchandising is responsible for the budgeting, product trading and supply chain strategy for the Region North business. In a constantly changing retail environment, they look to drive the optimum assortment for each retail location, based upon: customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.

Working closely with all key retail stakeholders (buying, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams) collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team!

The Merchandising Administrative Assistant Outlets plays an integral role within the PVH Merchandising team providing accurate information for allocation planning, stock replenishment and trading purposes to ensure stock is directed to stores in the right volumes at the right time to optimise profitability.

Responsibilities include:

Best In Class Merchandising:
  • Create initial allocation plans for Never Out of Stock (NOS) and seasonal assortments and proactively amend these plans based on changing trading environment
  • Review and monitor replenishment levels to maximise opportunity across store portfolios
  • Review performance and propose actions to the best sellers and top performing stores in time to positively impact future trade
  • Analyse individual store performance and suggest action plans
  • Assist merchandising team in producing daily/weekly reporting (e.g. Expected Deliveries, % Shipped Report, Pack and Hold etc.) for all channels across the business (Retail, Outlets, Concessions)
  • Assist merchandising team in end-of-the-season and in-season markdown preparations (all channels). Ensure stock builds for sale and promotional events by store are accurate and carried out in time
  • Review commitment files


Cohesion
  • Regular communication with peers across the region to align on best practices
  • Participate in Area Manager Contact Scheme
  • Liaise with Store/Concession Managers regarding deliveries/Inbound Transportations (IBTs) (all channels) and ensure deliveries in and out of the stores/concessions are dispatched/received in accordance with the company guidelines (all channels)
  • Support ongoing relationships with transportation companies, provide with service feedback, attend meetings with the partners etc
  • Manage weekly communication with Supply Chain team to feedback any changes to delivery schedule
  • Work closely with UK Outlet warehouse
  • Chase up missing deliveries/transfers with the transport companies
  • Book and track all transfers (IBT's) across the business (all channels)


High Performing Team
  • Ensure Assistant Merchandisers are fully briefed and ready for Monday trade - provide actions at line detail
  • Undertake general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, emails, answering telephone and communicating with the retail business


Systems & AI
  • Full understanding of all internal systems and processes
  • Design and run any ad-hoc reporting where necessary
  • Understand and share knowledge of any new AI tools


About YOU
  • You're educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally a degree with Mathematical bias
  • You have advanced Excel skills with basic understanding of formula creation and large data management
  • You have basic knowledge of Stock Management Systems (e.g. SAP)
  • You have excellent planning and analytical skills enabling you to Take Ownership in your work
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease to Make Informed Decisions
  • You're commercially astute and a confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels to Inspire Trust
  • You work well with change, being able to Adapt Fast and work with pace
