Job Details

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for providing overall direction and guidance to the staff of the department.

  • Supervise daily work of 6 direct reports and/or be backup as needed of Direct Reports who are responsible for processing invoices in S4 as well as
    • Ariba system
    • Ariba PCard Reconciliation
    • IDOC (Interface) reconciliations
    • Processing utility invoices
    • Corporate invoices
    • Tommy Hilfiger Licensing Invoices
    • US and Canadian American Express Card Account Reconciliation AP Administrator
  • Responsible for daily review / reconciliation of bank reports
  • Review daily vendor maintenance report
  • Process manual payment runs as needed
  • Process all voids/stop payments of checks
  • Investigate and resolve ACH & EFT bank rejections
  • Prepare and apply manual wires for Canadian and USD currencies
  • Escheatment process
  • Review and post invoice batches
  • Create, verify accuracy of complex templates and upload/release using Winshuttle and/or SAP S4 HANA upload tool
  • Run reports in SAP and oversee retrieval of invoices for Audits as needed
  • Review and approve direct reports timecards in Kronos
  • Write/conduct performance appraisals for direct reports
  • Handle e-mail & telephone inquiries
  • Backup for other Supervisors in their absence
  • Assist in other AP assignments when requested


  • 5-8 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • 1-2 years of Supervisory experience

Education: Associates Degree in Accounting or Equivalent

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • SAP Proficient/ SAPS4
  • Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba a plus
