Position Overview
The North America Communications Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) position plays a key role in helping to plan, execute, and track strategic regional activations and events for the brand. This exciting opportunity will help to drive innovation for the region and be a part of an agile organization. This person will lead brand activation & event workstreams with goal of building regional brand buzz and performance.
This position will require proven communications skills and a demonstrable passion for luxury brand marketing with the ability to demonstrate exceptional success in the following areas:
Project Management: alignment, set-up, & coordination with internal stakeholders and external agencies and project management to ensure initiatives completed on time and on budget Effective Leadership and Collaboration: manage projects across a multifunctional organization including North America, Global partners, and external agencies Results-Driven Approach : focus on strong and rigorous execution with a sensitivity around communication and management of critical timelines Innovative Thinking : act as a 'change agent' in teams or organizations by bringing best-in-class external perspectives and fresh new ideas Budgeting and Finance : support in tracking and overseeing Activations budget across initiatives Operational Excellence : attention to detail, diligence, execution of all projects on time and budget, uphold communication to cross functional teams
The North America Communications Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability. They will be open and approachable and will work with both the central team and the local teams in a transparent, united, and mutually supportive manner. Required Qualifications
The hiring range for this position ranges from $ 101,100 - 151, 200 . The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience. The duration of this role will be about 5-8 months.

Key Accountabilities
Brand Activations & Events
- Drive regional brand buzz and performance through the planning and execution of one-to-many marketing activations and events
- Create and execute regional activation plan in support of new store openings, product launches, brand campaigns, gifting occasions, and brand collaborations
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Media, PR, CVM, Client Relations, and Global colleagues to craft communications amplification for important upcoming marketing campaigns and product launches
- Develop innovative and impactful ways to activate in key focus cities
Create the Dream: Drive Brand Desirability Score Increases
- Partner with PR colleagues to maintain Tiffany's DMR position across digital / social / print channels via executing brand events and activations with impact that drive buzz and desirability across both US and Canada
Budget Oversight & Tracking
- Own NA Advertising Other budget
- Partner with NA Comms Coordinator and Finance team to track invoicing, monthly actuals, and accruals
Business Analytics & Consumer Insights:
- Monitor competitive landscape including all brand marketing campaigns, messaging, consumer trends and innovations
- Research innovative and impactful launches and public-facing brand events across the competitive landscape
- Keep pulse on changing consumer insights and translate into activation opportunities for the brand
Overall Team Strategy & Cross-Functional Partnerships:
- Support development of regional communications strategy & communications calendar
- Represent region in cross-functional forums
- Maintain the Tiffany standard of excellence within team to enhance productivity and effectiveness
- Demonstrate flexibility and provide extraordinary service to internal colleagues
- Nurture innovative and creative thinking, problem-solving and collaboration
- Coordinate additional projects as requested with a positive attitude and a can-do spirit
Required Qualifications
- Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and min. of 10 years' experience
- Candidates should have experience with or expertise in either retail marketing, media, agency or brand management, and the poise and manner to represent Tiffany & Co. both internally and externally.
- Strong understanding of communication & marketing channels as well as current luxury landscape
- This candidate will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, adapts easily to change, have a commitment to excellence and innovation and an appreciation of style and design.
- Ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and agency stakeholders
- The individual must demonstrate a great team spirit and will contribute to a collaborative climate.
- Ability to multi-task is critical
- Ability to work under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office is required (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
