The Role

The Intelligence Analytics Executive will be a core member of the Intelligence team, responsible for the implementation of strategies to translate multiple sources of data into valuable business insights. You will collaborate with the consumer insights team, the data team, and the strategy team to consolidate data and transform it into a holistic market understanding. As an Intelligence Analytics Executive, you will provide our brands and business partners the knowledge to make more informed data-driven decisions. You will ensure a strong collaboration with internal and external [beauty / fashion] business units and partners.

What you'll be doing

- Analyzing information on beauty, fashion and retail market results and trends in the GCC
- In collaboration with the Intelligence team members, scout and implement new industry intelligence tools and integrate it into team deliverables
- Ensuring department efficiency by supporting team's on-going projects as well as recommending new tools & methodologies for data analysis.
- Supporting the team with the on-going requests for the overall market and category deep-dives, markets assessment, and adjacent industries.
- Local and regional market modelling (Omnichannel, B&M and e-Commerce)
- Analyzing the performance of the [beauty / fashion] market working with Chalhoub franchise brands, joint ventures, distribution, and external partners
- Supporting the consolidation of both regional market estimates and local market estimates (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman)
- Coordinating and following up with local relays for data collection, ensuring data reliability
- Coordinating with internal partners for data collection and market insights
- Assisting in data extractions and performance dashboards
- Supporting the development of reports
- Suggesting areas of development on regional and local master files and analytical tools
- Supporting in the development of market presentations, extracting key problematics and insights, adapted according to the different audiences
- Supporting the update of industry figures for corporate presentations and creation of specific presentations to management and external partners
- Ensuring that Industry tool manuals are fully up to date as well as intelligence documents (distribution lists, retail network...) to support department efficiency and coordination
- Market analysis and observation
- Undertaking specific brands and management ad-hoc requests
- Conducting ad-hoc research to support selected Group initiatives such as new market studies, benchmarking, etc.
- Supporting administrative tasks (market visits, minutes of meetings...)

What you'll need to succeed

T he Analytics Executive role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about numbers, inquisitive, entrepreneurial, and looking to learn and grow in a fast-moving industry.

- You have a minimum of two to three years of relevant experience.
- You possess a University Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Statistics
- Data driven profile, comfortable with analyzing the data and translating it into insights
- Strong ability to work with a variety of complex data through Excel, Power BI, or Tableau tools
- Strong research skills, being able to connect the dots using a variety of data sources: industry reports, research tools, company's financial reports, trend forecasting tools
- Strong ability to turn insights into action through knowledge generation and activation. Data visualization skills and making numbers speak is a strong value added to this role
- Creating and delivering impactful presentations for the outcomes of research and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Ability to organize and work with large amounts of data
- Ability to question data reports and spot anomalies
- Prior experience in business intelligence, business analytics, data analysis, or related fields is a must
- Knowledge in statistical methodologies and descriptive analytics
- Experience in predictive modeling and machine learning is a plus
- A keen interest in Excel and data management tools
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus
- Familiarity with a scripting language (e. g. Python, R,) is preferred
- Have a keen eye for detail, a passion for precision and correct data management
- Be a team player, flexible mindset, creative, motivated, with good presentation and analytical skills
- Prior experience in the luxury, beauty, and retail industries is a plus
