Global Sourcing Director

In Oysho, we are looking for a GLOBAL SOURCING DIRECTOR to lead and define the global sourcing strategy that will support our company’s commercial needs and sustainability ambition, guaranteeing quality and profitability in production.

Your main functions would be:

• Lead the global sourcing strategy through a strategic perspective that allows meeting commercial needs and sustainability goals in Oysho.
• Flag any potential issues or changes along the global geopolitical strategies and adjust the supply strategy accordingly.
• Develop, secure and reinforce the supply chain.
• Identify new suppliers and production markets for each product category and reinforce the relationship with strategic suppliers, ensuring a positive collaborative environment.
• Liaise with the purchasing teams in negotiating prices, volumes, delivery dates, etc. Keep track of the purchasing projects and supplier performance metrics.
• Manage and support the development of our offices and commercial teams in Hong Kong and India.

Furthermore, you must be able to demonstrate:

• Higher education qualification in Economics, Business Administration and Management or Business Studies.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing/production management in the fashion industry with strong knowledge of fabrics.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Availability to travel.
• Structured mind, analytical profile with strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as experience in building processes and procedures, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
