WHAT YOU WILL DO 
You will be the lead for regional commercial data and category analysis, investigating trends and sharing the ‘so what’ to aid our decision making. You will enable story telling through numbers and provide insight to the marketing & commercial teams whilst being prepared to challenge the team to push to even higher heights. You will report directly into the SVP of Sales working closely with the regional leads and lead team to fuel and shape our strategic planning and tactical decision making. 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GLOBAL BUSINESS ANALYST 

  • Support the ROW Sales Team with accurate, summarised insights  
  • Regularly maintain the Net Sales Tracker  
  • Build solid partnerships for trusted category and commercial insight 
  • Define clear market targets, risks and opportunities 
  • Own EMEA retail reporting to ensure all regional requirements are achieved and consistent packs are produced to lead insight and action 
  • Collect data from the relevant account managers to summarise and recommend all final forecasts for the region and challenge where necessary 
  • Own the post promotional analysis and make future recommendations based on the data 
  • Provide clear productivity analysis and assortment recommendations 
  • Provide regional data and data for any new distribution opportunities. 

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE  

  • Advanced Excel skills (competent with all formulae, vlookups & pivot tables etc) 
  • Experience of handling large amounts of data and manual data cleansing and manipulation Be extremely well organised in a varied and demanding role 
  • Ability to present analyses and figures in a coherent manner to a mixed audience (eg non analysts, various managerial levels) 
  • Experience in a similar role 
  • Highly numerate Excellent people skills
