Sr Analyst, Business Master Data - 11215 Metro Pkwy

Position Objective



This position maintains an in depth working knowledge of multiple systems, applications and processes related to on order management and master data. Serves as liaison for multiple cross functional departments, including but not limited to Logistics, Compliance, Finance, Sourcing, Allocation, Planning, Merchandising and Reporting departments providing support and insight into data conflicts and system limitations.

FunctionalResponsibilities

• Manages assigned category purchase order and order revision workflow including service levels, business rule compliance and system data accuracy as well as performing accurate data entry into system.
• Completes quality checks on system data.
• Analyzes purchase orders/reorders & revisions for accuracy and completeness applying business and data rules.
• Analyzes order revisions to ensure compliance with business and system rules.
• Maintains department reporting and data management tools.
• Develops, maintains and enforces cross-brand SOE's for BMD processes to ensure best practices in data integrity and system use.
• Leads training sessions for BMD business partners and associates on various BMD related tools, enhancements and business processes.
• Identifies gaps across order development processes that contribute to data integrity issues.
• Assists in development, documentation, and implementation of departmental and cross functional procedures and policies.
• Manages retail ticket order process from merchandise vendor to distribution center by ordering initial tickets, troubleshooting issues and managing retickets to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintains working knowledge of SAP, Century VMS, Microsoft Office, Google Business Applications, and other business partner systems and applications.
• Researches and resolves PO related system issues from cross functional partners and Technology.
• Completes UAT testing for new and enhanced system capabilities.
• Assists in functional specification documentation for new systems and system enhancements.
• Complete business process, reporting and system projects as needed.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant work experience/education in accounting, or related field

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Master Data, Data Quality or System Analyst role
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems by applying rules and restrictions from multiple systems
• Effective time management skills with the ability to independently prioritize workload
• Analytical ability to evaluate the quality of business and system data
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to be flexible at all times and eager to take on special projects
• SAP knowledge and experience in a retail environment preferred
