The Team

The Financial & Tax Reporting Team as well as Treasury focuses on both Financial as well as Tax reporting and accounting as well as Treasury responsibilities and has a total of 18 associates. Almost all positions concern specialist areas where a solid knowledge of Financial Accounting and/or Tax accounting is key. This is visible in the high level of education each associate has, with almost all associates having completed their Masters. Focus areas include Month-end/Quarterly/Year-end close activities, external Audits on both US GAAP as well as Statutory Audits, P&L / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow reporting, Tax declaration, guidance and implementation of US GAAP policies with a continued focus on driving optimization and automation.

The PVH Europe Finance Team see it as their mission to share timely, accurate, and relevant financial information in a fully compliant environment. Using this data to provide insights, challenge and guide business stakeholders while acting as a center of excellence on specialized financial, risk, and compliance topics. Our goal is to be recognized as one unified community across Europe and a true proactive business partner with highly skilled and engaged finance professionals.

The Position
The Manager Financial Reporting will drive Management Reporting requirements to key Senior Leadership (CEO, CFO PVH Europe) as well as to PVH Corp. located in NYC, US, and assist in monthly end-closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities (5-7) :

• Provide executive commentary around month-end-close to PVH Europe Leadership (CEO, CFO), prepare and review monthly management decks, Q Earnings, and Board meeting narratives
  
• Execute the reporting and month-end closing processes and procedures from a Financial Reporting perspective and report out to PVH Corp, including reviewing activities prepared by financial analyst
  
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of Disclosures and Supplemental Reporting Schedules for quarterly and annual filings to US HQ (10K preparation)
  
• Ensure accurate financial reporting around sales and inventory provisions including being in compliance with Audit and SOX requirements
  
• Provide technical accounting guidance to countries' financial departments in Europe including enhancing existing accounting guidance
  
• Support with deep dives and ad-hoc requests, including preparation of senior management information both structured and on an ad hoc basis notably for the CEO, CFO of PVH Europe
  

The Ideal Candidate :

• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in Accounting, and Reporting. At least 4 years as Reporting analyst / Manager in a Multinational US GAAP environment
  
• Masters in Finance / Business Administration. Accounting qualification preferred
  
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  
• Strong team player with ownership competencies. Fitting in our casual company culture
  
• Proactive, organized self-starter, able to drive projects to completion.
  
• Flexible & Deadline oriented
  
• Good communication skills, and ability to clearly articulate finance topics in plain language to various stakeholders. Able to form trusted relationships with (Sr.) Stakeholders
  
• Skilled in BI, good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, BW, BPC)
  
• Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
