Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Head of Brand, with solid marketing leadership experience, and a love of fast paced, entrepreneurial environments.
The right candidate will be self-motivated and used to working at pace and prepared to be hands-on, is action orientated and energised by the opportunity to work with a fast-growing business.
Key Objectives
- On time ownership and execution of the marketing calendar in partnership with the CEO ensuring alignment with the product and promotional plan.
- Develop asset creation critical path alongside Production, eCommerce and Technical teams to ensure smooth launches in line with the Marketing Calendar, managing on time production of all assets/imagery in required formats.
- Ensure Marketing activity is planned across all key trading dates to include brand campaigns launching new Product initiatives, Collaborations, new season and Gifting campaigns e.g., Christmas, Valentines, and ad hoc localised events/pop ups.
- Work with CEO/Product Director on Brand campaign strategy.
- Deliver impactful, and effective marketing campaigns, on time and within budget.
- Work with COO & Head of eCommerce to define and agree campaign objectives and KPI’s including but not limited to brand awareness and positioning, traffic and revenue, new customer acquisition and retention/loyalty/frequency of purchase.
- Work in Partnership with the Head of eCommerce and Digital Marketing Manager to develop under potentialized Brand Marketing channels including Direct Mail, Third Party Brand Partnerships, Paid Influencer, Affiliates ensuring all are on Brand and meeting defined KPI’s.
- Collaborate with our Wholesale Partners to leverage paid Marketing Partnerships
- With CEO own brand look and feel ensuring brand tone of voice, imagery and language is consistent from site to emails, website, social media, social ads, direct mail and packaging.
- Ensure Content localised and translated across 3 language sites and adapted for US and Australian site as appropriate and work closely with the Head of eCommerce to optimise copy.
- Work with Head of eCommerce and SEO agency to optimise Web engagement through copy and content.
- Reporting Development to analyse all marketing activity to report, review and identify successes and opportunities for the future.
- Put together Annual Budgets with CEO to ensure ability to Market effectively to company product strategy,
- Own partnership marketing/collaborations, identifying and building relationships with third party brands to pitch media and campaign or product collaboration opportunities to increase brand engagement/revenue.
Measures of success
- Delivery of impactful, integrated and effective marketing campaigns, on time and within budget.
- Growth of social media - Reach and Engagement
- Develop Influencer strategy with KPI’s (traffic, revenue etc)
- Continuous improvement email Marketing Performance through agreed KPI’s
- Increase Landing Page Conversion
- Optimise SEO working in Partnership with External Agency.
- Grow customer LTV
- Manage and Mentor Brand Marketing Team
Skills & Experience
- Strong Aesthetic sensibility mixed with Commercial acumen.
- Creative with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience of leading a Brand Marketing function.
- Capable of developing clear measurable Brand Marketing KPIs aligned to company revenue, profit and brand vision to drive performance across all areas – acquisition, engagement, reach, conversion and lifetime value.
- Experience working with external agencies to optimise SEO and clear understanding of how-to product commercial content for acquisition marketing.
- Understand the complexities and challenges involved in working within a high growth environment.
- Excellent team player with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated and used to working at pace and prepared to be hands-on, action orientated and energised by the opportunity to work with a fast-growing business.
- Ideally experience of Marketing lingerie or apparel internationally and more specifically US and Australia.
- Minimum 8 years working with a fashion business - minimum 5 years working within Marketing.
- Ideally experience within a premium fashion business.
