As a member of the Global Assortment Planning team, the Planner is responsible for assortment planning for most Tiffany & Co. products to maximize sales and productivity. A strong candidate will have a collaborative & creative mindset, innovative approach, and strong analytical skills. This is a hybrid position based in NYC.

Global Assortment Planning
  • The Planner supports productive worldwide assortment plans across new and existing products while ensuring brand alignment globally.
  • He/she drives assortment reviews and makes recommendations at the regional and store level based on sales, productivity, space guidance and brand position goals in partnership with the Zones and central cross functional teams.
  • This position will play key role in many strategic assortment optimizations blending both retail store clusters and predictive analytics recommendations.

Collaboration & Innovation
  • The Planner fosters strong partnerships with zone counterparts built on transparency, visibility and effective communication, drawings insights and acting on key opportunities.
  • He/she will aim to identify and understand regional nuances and should demonstrate an open and global perspective.
  • He/she will lead team discussions on store assortments and space productivity, while providing critical support on region specific business goals and new stores openings.
  • The Planner will be an integral part of many upcoming new product launches, with the opportunity to work cross functionally with Merchandising, Marketing and Creative Visual Merchandising Teams.

The role requires an individual with sharp analytical skills and attention to detail. He/she drives for efficiency and accuracy across all tasks and identifies opportunities to streamline workload to maximize team productivity and output. The Planner will lead projects with a positive culture of achievement and an eye toward innovation.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years prior Merchandising or Planning experience, preferably with a luxury brand
  • Excellent PC skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (especially Excel and Power Point), with ability to learn new software
  • Undergraduate College degree
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills

  • Agility and comfort in working in a highly dynamic environment.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $85,000-$105,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
