We are looking for a Content Strategist specialist to join our Marketing department - Consumer Engagement team at AWWG for Pepe Jeans, Hackett London and Façonnable brands.
Goal of the position:
The position is global as you will be working for all group brands. Our ideal candidate has a great learning attitude, is curious, enjoys working cross-functionally, and can effectively communicate with other company departments and teams.
We are seeking a content strategy - languages lead (Spanish/French/German) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer/translator who is an expert on media and fashion — we are particularly interested in writers who have proven proficiency in proofreading creative copywriting in Spanish, French and German, and the ability to drive cross-functional projects and in scaling writing work with external translation agencies.
As Content Strategy - language specialist you will report to the Global Head of Content Strategy, inside the Marketing department and the Consumer Engagement team.
- Help with content strategy planification, execution and follow up. Help with brands' content calendar, coordination and alignment with all channels. Help with project management tools to download all communication pieces in coordination with creative copywriters, graphic team and ecommerce product teams. Translations check to main languages: ES, FR, DE (desirable IT, PT) to ensure a unique voice and tone for each brand user experience across our channels - helping with vocabularies, taxonomies, and style guides. A love of languages. Even though you’re an expert with deep knowledge, you’ll always check translations to be sure the quality is the same as the original version. You must be comfortable with rigorous editing, tight deadlines and workshopping copy with a team of writers and editors. Help with content requirements and creation of content strategy deliverables across a project life cycle, including content audits and gap analysis.
- 3+ years experience in writing, editing in creative spaces, such as consumer-focused copywriting, social marketing, short-form digital, advertising or journalism. Native fluency in Spanish, French and German and full professional fluency in English. Strong business acumen and proven stakeholder management skills. Independent and self-motivated working style. Excellent organisational skills. Outstanding communication skills. Problem solving, perfect written and spoken communication. Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Portuguese and Italian languages is a plus. Recently published examples of writing, translation or proofreading. Experience working with global brands, experience working in the fashion industry.
