Fabric Research and Development Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Attend fabric shows and maintain strong relationships with fabric mills to get insights on latest innovation and sustainability trends
• Develop fabrics with sustainable materials and meet company's sustainability goals
• Be in charge of jacquard exclusive fabrics and print development
• Manage the fabric sample development and approval including the hand feel, wash and construction
• Work with design, sourcing, and production to ensure we are fitting within cost structures – provide multiple options and recommendations for assigned garments
• Communicate with overseas mills to ensure fabric developments and requests are clear and on time to meet all milestones
• Maintain Fabric library in PLM system seasonally Create and build seasonal reports for cross functional teams Maintain seasonal fabric library including new collections, references and requests

Qualifications

• Good communication and presentation skills with good supplier management skill
• 5+ years experience in Fabric Research and Development (Fabric R&D)
• Willingness to learn, team player, sense of urgency, strong communication skills
• Candidate must be organized and detail oriented
