Job title: Management Accountant

Department: Finance


Outline of Role:

This role is a Management Accountant working with our UK & USA finance division. You will be responsible for coordinating and performing accounting activities for all UK business as well as ad-hoc support of the USA entity. This will include coordinating and managing compliance activities and managing risk, whilst ensuring first class financial and accounting management. You will be the main point of contact, with support from the financial controller, to Provide financial expertise to the organization.







Accounting and Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting for both Statutory and Group Reporting purposes
  • Interacting with the Local departments and the regional organization.
  • Manage directly accounting for Turnbull and Asser (UK) Ltd and coordinate accounting activities completed in the local office, including Purchase and Sales Ledgers.


  • Manage legal entities Treasury matters, in coordination with Accounts payable


  • Coordinate timely and accurate tax reporting, filing and overall compliance in the area of direct and indirect taxation


  • Compliance with revenues recognition rules
  • Client facing revenue and rebate reconciliations
  • Support with brand, sales, purchase, and channel profitability

HQ & Local Finance

  • Intercompany, General Ledger, AP, AR
  • Payroll 





The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics;


  • Graduate or equivalent in accounting Chartership within CIMA / ACCA or later stages of qualification depending on experience Proven working experience in accounting, tax and reporting in a multinational context Knowledge of local GAAP Sound understanding of local tax and regulatory systems Exposure to SAGE200/50 Orientation to work with strict deadlines Analytical – able to gain an understanding of key topics by analysis of key data rather then by performing processes Communication – ability to communicate in any format, working within a matrix organisation to influence and aid the understanding of clients and business partners Flexibility – ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment by balancing the needs of both Key Clients and Suppliers
