Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Platform tribe in Paris, Lisbon or Berlin

About the role

The Platform Team is responsible for all Core Tech to support the business, from infrastructure to building frameworks used by other engineers across the organisation.

Its mission is to provide the guidelines, tools and architectural guidance to ensure our platform scales healthy as we grow our business

You will report to the Director - Cloud Infrastructure & Operations and be in charge of identifying our biggest challenges and opportunities to scale the platform and creating innovative solutions. You will be responsible for defining and executing the squad's roadmap and working cross-functionally with other engineering areas

As a Software Engineer in DevOps team you'll actively participate in the implementation of Vestiaire Collective production infrastructure and CI/CD - and will know how to optimise it. You'll take care of its maintenance, availability and documentation. Your scope also includes training other IT teams, so they can use it in the most efficient way.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new tools, services, and solutions to support the engineering team.
  • You'll understand and assimilate our technical platform and thus develop a strong expertise on our architecture. You'll guarantee performance, quality and security of our infrastructures.
  • Design, develop, maintain our CI/CD.
  • Offer and set up easy performance measurement solutions on all different infrastructures
  • Act as qualitative and privileged interlocutor for our Engineering team - so you can proactively understand their needs and therefore offer adequate answers and solutions
  • Automate processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

Who you are
  • You are an experienced software developer with understanding of DevOps world (CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud management)
  • You know HTTP, Nginx and/or Apache, CDN and ideally have a great knowledge of Docker, GitLab, AWS, GNU/Linux, Kubernetes
  • You've a strong experience in CI/CD
  • You're able to code and create tools in PHP, Go, Python, Bash
  • You're familiar with observability tools like Prometheus and Datadog
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
