This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You have a natural passion and considerable experience in supporting the Global Merchandising teams with the development of the Global Product Assortment and ensuring that it aligns with the financial targets and strategic objectives of our brand. Merchandise Planning establishes financial targets by category/class for Sales, GM, Receipts and Inventory. This role works with the Global Merchandising team to analyze, identify, and communicate sales and inventory opportunities while also providing risk-mitigation recommendations. Also partners closely with our cross-functional global planning teams in full price Outlet and Wholesale in addition to production/sourcing and product development!

A Day in the Life:

The Senior Planning Manager, Corporate Merchandise Planning at Tory Burch is responsible for but not limited to:
  • Communicating financial results and action plans to senior leadership and cross-functional teams on a weekly basis
  • Analyzing historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and category
  • Providing hindsight analysis while partnering with Merchandising on future product positioning and opportunities
  • Creating category guidance in partnership with global merchants that align with our Long-Range Plan for Sales, Margin, IMU%, AIR, and AUR
  • Managing the global order book process of minimum order quantities alongside Production
  • Driving the Global Markdown Strategy
  • Partnering with regional planning teams on global Key Item Planning (replenishment) for Production forecasting needs
  • Establishing end-to-end category management while creating new efficiencies


To Land This Role:
  • 8+ years prior experience in merchandise planning, retail planning & allocation, global planning, production planning/capacity planning, financial planning & analysis - manager experienced preferred
  • Strong analytical skills paired with strategic business acumen and application
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence peers, members of cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Executive presence and acumen, ability to formally present business strategies and action plans
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize deadlines and tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset who takes a proactive approach to identify opportunities and find resolutions to challenges

Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is 135,000.00 USD - 155,000.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
