About the Role
As Manager of Strategic Finance, you will lead Athleta's forecast process for revenue as well as key drivers of revenue for the US and CA Stores businesses. You will also be a key contributor to the Stores gross margin and inventory forecast plan and ultimately be responsible for communicating and driving these plans forward with business partners. You are a highly strategic and influential partner to Athleta's Head of Stores, various Marketing partners and finance leadership. In this highly visible and cross-functional role, you are critical in bringing Athleta's priorities to life and ensuring we continue to accelerate our growth plan.
What You'll Do
- Scope: Total Athleta, North America, Stores channel with a focus on revenue and oversight to gross margin and inventory.
- Lead the Stores forecasting and business hindsighting processes through thoughtful and actionable business analysis and cross-functional leadership.
- Be a strategic and influential business partner. Your ability to influence is critical to success in this role.
- Effectively articulate insights and size risks/opportunities both short term and long term. Leverage insights to drive outcomes to help action on risk/opportunities.
- Produce ad hoc financial models and analyses that clearly quantify the cost / benefit of initiatives. Initiate analyses to solve problems, create alternatives, and provide recommendations based on your analytics.
- Routine processes include: Weekly Business Reviews and forecast, Daily Forecasts, Monthly Forecasts, Annual Budget, Seasonal Planning.
- Own daily and weekly monitoring of sales, levers, margin, and inventory trends for the Stores Channel.
- Advance, standardize and maintain forecast tools and reporting.

- You have an ability to manage multiple work streams with tight timelines.
- You operate well in a fast paced environment.
- You're a team player with a positive attitude and proven ability to develop effective and influential business relationships at all levels of the organization.
- 5+ years of financial planning, forecasting and analysis experience in retail required. Stores experience preferred.
- Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Essbase and NOVA a plus.

Salary Range: $91,100 - $131,400 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
