Job Details

This position will lead a team accountable for building and maintaining Tiffany's integrations by developing and extending custom and purchased products, and leading application integration capabilities. Influencing internal Development Leads and vendor Developers, and collaborating with business, technical analysts, QA leads, and Project Managers to deliver high quality integrations in Commercial and Corporate Solutions areas.

Accountabilities include:
  • Run product roadmaps and strategies in Tiffany's data integration area (including innovation and alignment with Center of Excellence and Enterprise Architecture teams)
  • Partnering with teams and other support functions to deliver integrations and maintain integration platforms. Advocating for best practices and design patterns
  • Responsible for day-to-day development and delivery activities
  • Ensuring the delivery teams understand the end-to-end solution and are capable of delivering according to plan
  • Coordinating application area activities, setting priorities, resolving interpersonal impediments, supervising and reporting
  • Handling vendors in scope of integrations development and support
  • Presenting developer needs and constraints to the wider organization
  • Supporting and guiding the teams in continually improving their standards, while they deliver


This role will have accountability for a variety of enterprise integrations capabilities including MuleSoft, ETL, ESB/IIB, Axway, data replications. The key focus of this position is to lead internal development team and application managed services partners to deliver integrations development and support existing integrations platform changes and upgrades while working closely with product teams. This individual will work very closely with application managed services partners to ensure quality work you're doing within agreed SLAs. Position will be responsible for ensuring business continuity and accountable for overall service delivery for integration platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for leading and managing integrations platform and development teams and managed service partners for day-to-day development and delivery activities
  • Responsible for working with functional team to develop delivery solutions as well as the estimation/approval process and technical management of projects
  • Responsible for managing vendor relationships/metrics, SOWs, and establishing metrics to ensure system stability and reduce time to market for new projects
  • Managerial oversight in support area in scope of integrations platform ensuring right processes and methods are applied in incident and problem management space
  • Demonstrates sophisticated communication skills - oral, written and presentation
  • Able to distill highly complex or abstract technical issues into clear, actionable points, accompanied by authoritative details. Develops trusting, influential relationships with peers and partners


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or a related field and/or meaningful experience
  • 4+ years of experience leading software development teams in integrations area
  • 2+ years of experience in managing outsource vendor relationship
  • Expertise in resolving critical support and performance related issues when vital
  • Solid understanding and experience in projects implementations


Preferred:
  • Global retail experience
  • Experience in designing and implementing new Center of Excellence organization
  • Experience with Agile and Product/Scrum team methodologies
  • Hands on development experience
