Job Details

Overview:

AMIRI is looking for an eager & motivated individual to join our IT team! Reporting to the Director of IT & ERP, our ideal candidate possesses a base understanding of IT best practices and is looking to expand their knowledge.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Support creating and managing user accounts in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Provision laptops using JAMF, Intune, and Apple Business Manager.
  • Partner with HR to handle all tasks involving onboarding and offboarding.
  • Respond to User issues regarding laptops, phones, and printers.
  • Provide support to Executive team with urgency and clarity.
  • Maintain inventory of all software and hardware; place orders to replenish any required licenses and devices.
  • Keep track of departmental expenditures for Accounting needs.
  • Understands the importance of protecting the confidentiality of employees, business applications, and any Company data they may have access to. 
  • Create FAQ reference material for frequent end-user issues to minimize ‘time to resolve issue.’
  • Document and update system configurations.
  • Willing to learn and proactively suggest ways to streamline IT processes.
  • Ability to explain technical terms to non-technical people.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and stay relatively calm in a demanding environment.
  • Attend support calls from Retail locations for point of sale (POS) troubleshooting
  • Assist with setup of retail equipment such as receipt printers, payment terminals, barcode scanners and software. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with & ability to support Office365 applications, Google Workspace, and other productivity applications.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve basic computer problems.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
