WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are looking for a creative Senior Copywriter to join our wonderful Marketing Team at Dr. Barbara Sturm. Working alongside the Head of Copy, you will be responsible for writing all copy, creating content across numerous disciplines of content marketing. Providing all copy needs for the brand and working on multiple projects, you will be able to lean in on any copy query or need and ensure a consistent, on-brand, tone of voice.   

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR COPYWRITER 

  • Write copy for Dr. Barbara Sturm social media channels and work with the social media and marketing team to prep posts.
  • Working alongside the Marketing and Product Development Teams to write compelling copy specific to product and NPD, including – but not limited to – press releases, product sheets, website product pages and many more.
  • Work with PR and Communications on all things copy related, including interviews and scripts.
  • Work with the Head of Copy to provide optimized copy for DRSTURM.COM. Including launch/content-specific landing pages, the homepage, product pages, category pages as well as weekly banner creative.
  • Write copy for retailer activities, as and when needed. Including POS in-store creative, online launch collateral for Dr. Sturm and other marketing activations.
  • Write engaging content for the Dr. Sturm blog, Doctor’s Notes, and actively participate in blog team meetings to concept creative feature ideas for future posts.
  • Exert your innate creativity to come up with new content for the brand across our different channels.
  • Continuously support the Head of Copy with any relevant copy requests.

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE 

  • 2-3 years of copywriting experience and creative writing skills essential.
  • Knowledge of the beauty industry and a passion for wellness and skincare.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Creative writing skills and an ability to think out of the box.
  • Experience writing marketing email copy and paid social media copy.
  • Can create content with different needs and across various mediums.
  • A team player who is energetic, enthusiastic and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident in sharing ideas and contributing to team meetings.
  • Able to manage own workload and be a self-starter.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management and organisational skills.
  • Can manage a variety of different projects confidently and at the same time, whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently on projects, and also thrive in a group team setting.
