Come join FIGS' 2023 Summer Internship Program! We are excited to bring on a People Intern to join the People Team! As a member of the People Team, you will help organize, coordinate, and contribute to the team's projects and processes, while fostering a positive work environment. During this 12-week immersive internship program, you will gain hands-on work experience, develop & refine skills, network & learn from established professionals, all while exploring future potential career paths.

What you'll do:
  • Partner with the People Team to plan culture, team member appreciation & team building events
  • Assist in key People Team projects which may include: new hire onboarding, event & employee engagement opportunities, team member engagement, and talent acquisition
  • Help strategize & enhance our in office and remote work culture & hybrid experience
  • Brainstorm company-wide communication and connection strategies
  • Make suggestions as to new, easier or more efficient ways to manage any People and Culture processes
  • Gain exposure to other areas of People including culture, employee engagement, talent acquisition, learning and development, HRIS, compliance etc.

About you:
  • Pursuit of a college degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related major
  • Should be able to commit to 12 weeks of the internship and be able to work 20 hours per week
  • Self-driven, positive and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive documents and discussions with discretion and understanding
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to details
  • Must be proficient in use of Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite

Program details:
  • Ability to commit to a 12 weeks internship program and work 20 hours per week
  • Ability to commute to our Santa Monica office 3x a week
  • Compensation for this position will be $16.00/hour
