WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are recruiting for Global Trade Marketing Manager to join our Global Marketing Team at Dr. Barbara Sturm. This role will work across our global spa and retail accounts, devising strategic activations to drive footfall, awareness, and best-in-class client experiences.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GLOBAL TRADE MARKETING MANAGER
- Manage 360 retail marketing for the Dr. Barbara Sturm global spa and boutiques. Implement local strategies for each market as well as a global calendar across programming and events.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on new opportunities to drive awareness, repeat purchase and loyalty in our spas.
- Work with the regional teams (North America and Rest of World) on marketing activations within their territories. Act as the brand guardian to ensure a consistent brand tone of voice,
synergistic marketing plans and strategies, and on-brand end-to-end execution. - Collaborate with regional teams on all Marketing activations, including but not limited to;
events, sampling strategies, wholesale ecommerce optimisation, campaign co-ops etc. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Global retail (NA & ROW) Spa, Social, Creative, PR, Education) to ensure brand marketing plans are effectively implemented across spa channels.
- Collaborate with VIP membership & PR teams to devise private client and exclusive retail opportunities, looking for ways to elevate client experience, amplify and achieve content, earned media and any other KPI’s set.
- Manage tiered retail partnerships and collaborations, owning end-to-end execution to ensure seamless execution across all spa touch points.
- Collaborate with Global Heads of Marketing (Brand and Product) on the implementation of brand and product campaigns across the global retail and spa network.
- Conduct insightful monthly and post-activation performance reports, identifying key successes learnings to inform future planning.
- Deliver informative competitor and marketing analysis, identifying meaningful gaps, partnerships and opportunities for driving the growth of the Dr. Barbara Sturm trade
business. - Organize and update all tracking documents and budget information per project.
- Partners with the wider Marketing team to prepare for partner, retailer, internal and
external stakeholder meetings. - Delivers ad hoc projects upon request.
YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- Proven retail management experience within the luxury sector.
- Experience of creating and executing in-store events
- Flawless attention to detail, agile multi-tasker, well organized, administrative skills and
excellent communicator. - Action and results oriented marketeer that works well in fast-paced and dynamic
environment. - Confident to work cross-functionally, present and galvanize teams behind a shared vision
and plan. - Minimum of 4+ years experience working in a marketing function, ideally within the
cosmetics or luxury industry with experience in retail and/or events. - Enthusiastic team player, with a proactive can-do attitude. Is able to adopt a flexible working
and capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
