WHOLESALE SALES EXECUTIVE

 

ROLAND MOURET is looking for a WHOLESALE SALES EXECUTIVE to work closely with the Wholesale Manager in support of the Sales team; building strong relationships with our partners developing our turnover and optimising ST. The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in a Wholesale role within the fashion industry and will have a thorough understanding of luxury fashion. This position requires a team player with an eye for detail, an eagerness to learn and a professional that takes great pride in their work. Reporting to the Head of Wholesale.

 

Please note, this role will be predominantly based in the RM office located in Clerkenwell and that travel to continental Europe may be required, if and when necessary.

 

Main functions include:

 

Sales:

 

Booking sales appointments for sales campaigns across seasons. Carrying out sales appointments for clients from various territories.

Compiling seasonal sales training packs for retail sales assistants. Supporting the Sales Manager carrying out training in store.

Day to day management of the existing customer base, maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and providing swift responsive action to their requests.

Prospect for new customers and opportunities for the brand.

Retail competitor analysis (store visits with reports of the experience).

Responding promptly to queries from all customers across wholesale and connecting with wholesale accounts on a weekly basis to collect ST data, improving and maintaining the relationship and offering support where necessary.

Working closely with our logistics team to actively carry out swaps and reorders for all existing accounts working with inventory, pulling ATS stock and coordinating stock movement in season.

Taking an active role in weekly shipping and logistics meetings ensuring shipments reach key accounts in a timely manner and deliveries go out on time.

Working with our international sales agents for various territories, maintaining clear and professional communication with the account managers and providing swift responsive action to support any requests. Ensuring all assets and communications are shared in a timely manner.

 

Marketing:

 

Liaising with our Graphic Designer to ensure all sales materials are prepared for market, press images are sent out, training documents are updated.

Coordinating marketing assets, ensuring all content is correctly named, credited and filed. Respond promptly to customer requests for marketing materials.

Be sure that all the brand communication on product care and styling guidelines are shared with our partners (visual merchandising, press reviews, etc). Especially online partners

Assisting in the fulfilment of special projects and installs, working on projects with stockists to improve awareness of the brand in specific markets

 

Reporting and Analysis:

 

Inputting orders into Zedonk, ensuring all the wholesale data is correct

Developing the sell-out by analysing: buys, bestsellers/worst-sellers, products recommendations, stock swap, incentive, exclusives.

Supporting the Sales Manager to compile and present weekly sell through report.

 

Finance:

 

Working closely with our accounts department to ensure invoices are correct and include correct terms on the OC documents.

 

The Candidate:

 

Strong products sensitivity with strong fashion markets knowledge.

Strong analytical skills and comfortable with figures. 

Strong Negotiation skills.

Ability to sell the collection in the showroom.

Good presentation and communication.

Positive, can-do attitude.

 

Fluent in English. A second language is beneficial.
