Job Description
 Working closely with the design on development of each collection from initial design concept through to
preparation for bulk production.
 Manage the critical path for the entire development process with studio and manufacturers to ensure
deadlines for raw materials, samples, fittings, and prices are met.
 Attend regular reviews through the development process
 Working together with design to develop and monitor the sampling of raw materials and their allocation to
products
 Sourcing to the seasonal range plans factoring in margin targets, lessons learnt from previous seasons and
new design innovation.
 Review cloth and trim pre-collections at head office and at trade shows such as Milan unica and Premier
Vision.
 Approve lab dips, handlooms, quality and final wash.
 Prepare and follow up on design / Salesman samples / proto worksheets. Working closely with design on
processing all seasonal salesman samples and all proto requests.
 Responsible for the collection sample management of protos and SMS
 Responsible for the planning and tracking of the product development budget.
 Overseeing all ordering of fabric and trim developments to ensure the specification of the raw materials is
in line with range plan and garment requirements.
 Launch seasonal print lay plans with mills to ensure the correct rating is updated on the BOM Completing
the Tech Packs from creation to production handover.
 Attend all fittings from the first toile to SMS sample, document fitting notes and communicate the notes to the
relevant pattern cutters.

Ideal Candidate
Must have previous 5 years of PD experience within the luxury market. Strong technical understanding of the
luxury market. Good working knowledge of manufacturing within Europe. Excellent understanding of patterns,
garment construction and fit. Print experience in wovens, Denim and jersey. Production experience is beneficial but
not essential
