Position Overview
As the Senior Business Analyst - Finance and Tax Applications, you will lead analysis work on multiple projects, with competing deadlines, on the Finance/Tax portfolio within Business Shared Services. Utilising existing, strong industry knowledge, you will interpret business needs and constructively challenge to determine and document optimal business and/or technology processes and requirements. You will lead Business Process flow modelling from "As-Is" to "To-Be" and have the additional responsibility of running smaller-scale projects independently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead/participate in discovery meetings to gather, define and formalize business requirements Perform the necessary business analysis and consultations to identify solution options and related benefits Contribute to preparing and building project plans and estimates Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with the offshore development teams to deliver the required IT capabilities Ensure that all analysis and requirements are captured within the agreed scope and budget Define test scenarios and ensure proper system testing is done, approved and signed-off Coordinate UAT and assist Business Users where required Build deployment plans and follow execution until implementation Extensive stakeholder engagement with peers and customers - managing relationships and expectations throughout the life cycle of each project Support stakeholders in making the recommended changes, which includes assistance to resolve any queries and issues Where necessary, act as a 'translator' between IT and customer or business needs to ensure clarity of what is required Support stakeholders in the embedding and handover of projects into business as usual Maintaining an inquisitive mind-set, not being afraid to ask questions and/or challenge accepted norms and championing continuous improvement

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Required: An engaging, curious, hands-on, resilient and enthusiastic individual with good energy and great communication / interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to take initiatives, be proactive and work autonomously Experience in financial transformation, financial change, regulatory / legislative / tax projects Strong Stakeholder engagement experience Previous exposure to automation projects Excellent visual presentation skills with the ability to dissect complex issues and articulate options/solutions to stakeholders Familiar working with globally distributed teams in different locations Formal SAP training /certification A minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP FICO, OTC, PTP, RTR environment Fluent in English (French considered an advantage) Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) Agile / Scrum & Waterfall exposure in previous roles are required Preferred/Desired: Good knowledge of SAP integrational aspects: Interfaces, idoc management with ERP Ecosystem, EDI Strong knowledge of Finance and Tax business processes and an understanding of best practice principles Very good problem solving, documentation and formalization skills Previous experience in digitalization from a taxation perspective (e-invoicing, Real-Time Reporting, SAFT Submissions, etc.) would be beneficial Previous experience in automated Data submission to, and engagement with European Tax Authorities would be beneficial SAP FICO functional experience and general background in finance or accounting Previous working experience in a retail / luxury / fashion environment across multiple applications would be beneficial Previous experience in reviewing and involvement in designing end-to-end multi-application solutions CBAP Certification is an advantage Ability to apply a Lean Six Sigma skill set across a plethora of business problems; proficient use of a broad range of Lean Six Sigma tools, applicable throughout the project lifecycle.
