Responsibilities

Trade compliance (import and export activities) including system implementation (JDE E1, Compass and etc.)
  • Oversee and support supply chain and logistics operations including customs clearance are fully compliant with import and export regulations
  • Ensure compliance of operations with laws and regulations, including Customs, Duty and Cities requirements
  • Proactively work with customs brokers to ensure an efficient and effective process for import/export activities while optimizing costs and ensuring executions align with Brand strategy
  • Partner with regional and corporate support teams to ensure standardization of current and new processes including new systems implementation
  • Responsible for accurate and timely filings of duty & tax drawback while ensuring compliance with regulations

Domestic Transportation including non-product transactions (packaging supplies and others)
  • Maintain relationships with internal departments and external parties to understand, anticipate business needs and provide solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and execute local transportation procedures and proactively identify inefficiencies and implement initiatives to improve service, cost and efficiency
  • Responsible for arranging the transportation for event, transferring and others to meet the deadline of business needs.
  • Oversee and monitor operational procedures to ensure market compliance (i.e. inventory accuracy, non-merchandise inventory in 3PL warehouse cycle counts, merchandise transfers, missing assets and etc.) in partnership with Retail Operations team
  • Performs analysis of weekly and monthly Logistics key performance metrics (transportation costs, delivery time, storage costs and etc.) to ensure best rates and service
  • Assist as needed with the special projects and implementations

Inbound and outbound invoice and shipments
  • Implement and manage appropriate internal controls in relation to inventory and stock management within the store to ensure accurate stock is maintained
  • Manage the business relationship with warehouse and freight contractors
  • Responsible for monitoring all deliveries to the store, assist in the reduction of lead-time and optimize delivery frequencies
  • Check and verify invoices and ensure pre-alert issued by the forwarder for shipment
  • Prepare pro-forma invoices and handle shipment documents
  • Monitor the conditions of shipment arrivals. Coordinate with teams for shipment discrepancy, missing or damaged cartons
  • Verify freight charges, declaration fees, tax and duty and warehouse charges

Data Administration of Logs and POS and support retail related activities
  • Ensure the transactions related to stock movement are recorded correctly in the systems
  • Stock movement reconciliations including daily stock discrepancies, stock take, family sales and month end closing enquiries
  • Price change coordination and data integrity
  • Supports stores with stock rebalancing
  • Support the Retail and Merchandising teams on the transfer of merchandise, Communications on events in the region and others if needed
  • Provide instructions to departments on the packing requirement, pro-forma invoice and packing list format when necessary
  • Proactively recommend solutions and instruct freight forwarders and warehouse to ensure Brand's expectations and deadlines are met in a cost-effective way
  • Support in High Jewelry event including import/export, on-site packing/unpacking, support time sensitive shipping schedules

Coupa Buyer
  • Conducts basic compliance checks to ensure requisition is completed with correct information required for the supplier to properly process the order
  • Processes POs as quickly as possible to minimize disruption to the business
  • Researches and completes missing information on a requisition, minimizing burden on the requester
  • Proactively monitors major contract spend to pursue volume discounts and rebates
  • Actively guides spend to preferred suppliers in accordance with category strategy

Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in retail logistics.
  • Experience with international logistics and freight (including CITES).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
  • Good communicator, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on outcomes and improve the distribution process
  • Good English and Thai
